Our Top Fall Trends For New York Fashion Week 2019
The runways have spoken during the opening week of New York Fashion Week 2019, and it looks like the 90s, 80s and even 70s elements have come back full force.
Although this season is devoid of big names like Fenty and Calvin Klein, it's leaving room for smaller newcomers like No Sesso to showcase their talents.
With Fashion Week underway, iconic trends from previous seasons stayed strong for the coming Fall. Nevertheless, the catwalks graced us with fresh newness too - specifically psychedelic shades, asymmetry and animal print!

90s Tie-Dye

Tie-Dye made a big splash on the runway last year and showed no signs of slowing down this coming autumn. Although associated with the warmer weather, uber bright and pastel iterations graced models and attendees alike from head to toe!

Whether its tiger print, zebra stripes, leopard spots or snakeskin, wearing prints inspired by wildlife continue to be a favourite trend for fashionistas. Realistic creations to subtle prints set against pastel shades have been a favourite for online and high-end stores.

Move along millennial pink! We're swiping right for millennial purple! Associated with royalty, everything is coming up purple this fall. As seen on Tom Ford, shades from orchid, deep mauve and royal purple are all the rage for sophisticated, feminine flair. You can opt for an all-over purple look or mix and match hues!

According to high-end designers like Tom Ford and Vaquera, getting glammed up doesn't have to include wearing the most lavish sequin dress you can find. With the cold weather around the corner, designers like Tory Burch and Max Mara presented sleek longline coats to deliver an extra layer of warmth (and sass!) this winter. These coats aren't your typical lightweight dusters.
