London Fashion Week

London Fashion Week | Hello Molly

London Fashion Week

If New York Fashion Week was a person, London Fashion Week would be its much cooler older sister. The front rows are packed with homegrown heroes rather than international exports, the street style is effortlessly British and some of the clothes shown on the runways look like pieces Bowie and Jagger would’ve worn in their prime. For the babes who missed all the goods London Fashion Week had to offer, here’s your cheat sheet.

-       Gigi, Bella and Kendall were nowhere to be seen and we were a tiny bit disappointed.

-       Hailey Baldwin was there in their absence holding it down for the squad and tearing up the runway.

-       Kate Moss, our fave It girl of yesteryear, sat front row at Topshop and looked like she could still out-strut half the modern-day models.

-       We spotted British beauties Cara Delevingne, Daisy Lowe and Georgia May Jagger at all the LFW parties and they looked amazing!

This season’s British street style reminded us of a trend we don’t appreciate as much as we should, monochrome. There’s something about minimal monochrome pairings that puts hearts in our eyes and almost (key word: ALMOST) makes us want to trade glitter maxis for minimal midis. We’d say that monochrome’s making a comeback but, in all honesty, it never really went out of style.
